Here is the latest information on availability of the COVID-19 vaccine in our community. Wellspan has just placed this announcement on their website:
Eligible individuals under Phase 1A are now able to register for their COVID-19 vaccine through MyWellSpan. Please visit MyWellSpan to log in or sign up for an account. You may also call the COVID-19 Vaccine hotline at 855-851-3641 to schedule an appointment for the vaccine.
Tuesday, January 19, 2021, the PA Health Department announced two additional categories of eligible individuals to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as part of Phase 1A:
- All people ages 65 and older
- People ages 16-64 with certain medical conditions, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that increase the risk of severe illness from the virus, detailed here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/people-with-medical-conditions.html
