On the Origins of the Wuhan Virus
In my blog of April 2020 I discussed a study co-authored by Dr. Zhengli-li Shi that took place in a lab in North Carolina in which a bat coronavirus was genetically engineered such that it could infect human beings, supposedly to prove that it was possible for such a virus to jump to humans in the wild. We now know much more about this virologist. She is called the “Batwoman” in China because she has been collecting bat viruses for many years, and has been shown on television handling bats in their cave without wearing proper protective gear. In August of 2012 she went to Yunnan Province (over 1000 kilometers from Wuhan) to investigate the case of 6 miners who fell ill after two weeks of removing bat feces from a cave. Three of the six died. They were killed by a novel virus, but in an interview in March of 2020, Dr. Shi lied about the case and said they died from fungal lung infections. The Sars-CoV-2 virus that causes the COVID-19 illness is very similar to one of the bat viruses that she collected from that cave.
Dr. Shi later rose to become the head of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) which was instrumental in developing the first biosafety level-4 lab (BSL-4) in China in 2018. This “high security” lab was criticized by the U. S. State Department after inspection by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for inadequate safety precautions that could allow the unintentional release of dangerous pathogens. There have been hundreds of such accidents around the world including the first release of the Swine Flu (H1N1) in 1977, and possibly the second release in 2009 as well. China’s bioweapons research is run out of that lab.
Perhaps the most disturbing thing that we have learned is that the U.S. National Institute of Health (NIH) has subsidized and may continue to fund virology research at the WIV laboratory through grants to the EcoHealth Alliance run by Dr. Peter Daszak. Daszak went on the 60 Minutes television show to decry the threat to his funding by the Trump Administration. He said that his research at the lab in Wuhan would help warn the world of a potential pandemic pathogen coming out of China. Somehow the 60 Minutes reporter failed to ask him why he did not alert the world to the real nature of the Wuhan virus, especially as the Taiwanese attempted to do just that on December 31, 2019. For 2 weeks after that the Word Health Organization (WHO) supported China’s false claim that the virus could not be spread human to human. The WHO is led by Dr. Tedros Adhanom, an avowed Marxist from Ethiopia who obtained the job at the behest of Communist China and China enabler Bill Gates, the WHO’s largest private donor. Tedros is the first non-physician to lead the organization – go figure. The coverup by the WHO allowed the Chinese to continue to send flights all around the world while stopping flights from Wuhan to Chinese cities. Taiwan was the first country to close it borders to the Chinese. The result? A worldwide pandemic that has killed more than 200,000 Americans, but only a grand total of 7 Taiwanese (as of 9/21/20).
The evidence continues to mount that the virus escaped from Dr. Zhengli-li Shi’s lab in Wuhan despite her denials. Moreover, the NIH is complicit as its grants propelled her dangerous research. So why is Dr. Anthony Fauci, the longstanding head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, not asked about this by our vaunted “free press”? Why has Dr. Fauci not demanded the release of all the lab notebooks from the scientists of the WIV in the name of good faith transparency? Those notebooks will very likely settle the question.

Please get on the internet and read their analysis from 6/2/20 titled “The Case is Building that COVID-19 had a Lab Origin”, and their theory of 7/15/20 titled “A Proposed Origin for Sars-CoV-2 and the COVID-19 Pandemic”. Compare their writings to the article “The Proximal Origin of Sars-CoV-2” that was published on 3/17/20 in Nature Medicine and determine for yourself which smacks of science and which of propaganda. The latter piece is used by the mainstream media to attack anyone who casts doubt on China’s claim that the virus came from a wet market (a live animal market) in Wuhan.
Recently, a Chinese virologist named Dr. Li Meng Yan defected from Hong Kong to the U.S. claiming that the Wuhan virus was created intentionally via genetic engineering in Dr. Shi’s lab. She was ignored until she appeared on the Tucker Carlson television show and then she was immediately and mercilessly attacked by the Sword and Shield of our elites – the mainstream media. This usually indicates that she is on to something close to the truth. More on this in next month’s blog.
